How to store an A/C Compressor?

Whats the best way to store an A/C compressor while it will be awaiting install? I want to put sometype of oil in it and maybe cap it off? But what should I use? It will be probably like a month or two. Its already been off for about month or so.... Thanks

all you have to do is cap off the lines in the car if you can
and plug the ports in the back of the compressor. You should'nt
have to put any oil in it because the system has enough in it already(unless you have a leak then some oil will come out with the refrigerant)

What MK 94 1LE said should do it.

I've always wanted to add to your signature tag line, scooby:

You'll have to forgive me. I have no idea what you mean. Maybe I'm tired from working all weekend but could you break it down for me
