How similar is the CC306 and Comp 227/233 cams
I don't know about the other cam but if you go with the cc306 you need to change the springs. Motors are very expensive to replace, I just spent $6000.00 on rebuilding mine and all the stuff in the sig.
But on a side note.......I'm happy as can be that I spun all those bearings and needed a rebuild...........how else would I explain to the ol' lady I NEEDED all that stuff done!!
Also, I LOVE my cc306, but there are many things you SHOULD do to your motor before just dropping a big cam in. Do a search and you'll see there is alot more involved than just cam and springs.
