i ask because i have all simple bolt ons and im about to buy a s/c. i know it should be dont with a wide band but i got this from a friend. when im cruisin @about 2000 rpm barely on the throttle it reads lean almost stoich, but as soon as i floor it power enrichment kicks in and reads fine. its doesnt detoniate i use 93 octane,BUT im runnin the hpp3 crap. should i eliminate that and then try it.

Would I trust tuning an expensive piece of hardware with a blower strapped to it with a narrow band O2? Not unless I was preparing to rebuild it for more boost and proper tuning

A/f gauge isn't usefull at all. By the time it says lean, your motor is blown. It is only accurate at 14.7:1, when it says lean, it could be 15:1 or 20:1. If it says rich, it could be 10:1 or 14:1. I would yank it and never think of running it. If you want an extra gauge that will do some good, get an egt gauge. Just make sure you know what temp is what.

At which point you wouldn't need it anyway.
