How to reach my goal...

Ok, you can see the mods I already have on my 97 Z28 in my sig. My goal is to reach around 350 hp at the wheels. What would be the quickest and cheapest way to do this? I am currently saving up for shorty headers. What else should I do besides this? Remember, I am on a budget, so heads are out of the question. A cam is a maybe. Will this be possible to acheive w/o new heads or a cam?

Without going through and blueprinting every aspect of the engine, using lightweight components etc., it'd be very tough getting 350 rwhp out of a stock LT1.

After all the free mods and bolt ons.... exhaust would be the next thing.... especially headers (I'd go longtubes). Then a cam like the CC305, XE224, etc.. With the right combination of parts you should be able to make 350 rwhp without too much trouble... and without messing with the cylinder heads.

I have the exact same car you have except for the tranny, except mine is quite a bit more modified. The mods are listed in the sig, with the recent addition of a Flowmaster 80 series muffler (should have gotten the Hooker, but oh well). I haven't dynoed it yet, but I will post the results soon as I do. Then you can have an idea on what to add to yours (Mine better make 350rwhp!)
