do your friends know you have an automatic? if so they are idiots... How the hell are you going to bog an automatic? Go for the drag radials if you were spinning in ANY way at the track.

do what? Im not a cop, my last name is Coppedge. I was just saying that as far as I have ever heard of/encountered, an automatic car that is in decent condition thats fuel injected, has never bogged because of traction. Or am I wrong? (not intended to be a smartass, if Im wrong I will feel like a total moron.... )

i say do some free mods(tb bypass, ram air) and get some dr's. i went 13.8's with the cai & cut out. your best bet is to work on your 60's. i know i can go around 13.6-13.7 given the right tires.

i got about the same setup and same 1/4 mph, i know your car has a 13.7-13.8 in it.

btw street demon2k3, what gears do you have? keep in mind i still have 2.73's and no traction problems really. So would dr's help me? just rev a little higher off the line?

Sig...

Was done with a cutout...and a K&N filter...not worth much I would think...

I have Nitto 555 radials, not the DR's...drop them a little and stall the car a little...cuts 2.00 60's all day.

I say once, you can get to a 2.0, youll hit that 13.8.

Edit: The 2.73's arent helping your case at all. I have 3.23's, looking at getting 3.42's or 3.73's soon...

IMO, youd probably be best off with saving a little more and having soem gears installed.

With 2.73's your probably not having traction problems, but if you are i would get drag radials. If your not having problems hooking, i would go with some gears.....then you'll have problems hooking so your gonna need the drag radials anyways.
