I have a C&N CAI kit and am curious as to how often you guys clean your filter. If you read the box they basically say you gotta clean it once every few years (pfft!). I've had mine in a few months and it was absoultly filthy after a while... Does anyone here actually "never" clean the filter and go by what the box says? I noticed a huge difference when i cleaned it up yesterday...

 

I usually clean mine every 12-18 months, it just depends on how lazy I am. My filter gets dirty pretty quick also, but I can't really tell a difference driving whether it's clean or dirty.

 

I clean mine twice a year but I have no splash guards on so mine gets dirty alot faster.
