How often do you change your....

How often do most of you change plugs/wires, opti, etc? I'm installing a NX kit next week (if the parts come in that is), and I'm definitely changing out my plugs (NGK TR6 at .35 gap are going in to replace the Delco ones), but I don't wanna' replace the wires and opti (mostly laziness at this point). Right now they have about 40k since the last tune-up, and there are no problems with the car that would make me think they even need replaced now.

So, change it all, or just the plugs?

well with 40k miles since the last tune-up i'd personally throw a new set of wires in there. the opti i would leave alone until it gives you problems....who's to say the new opti you put in wont break in 300 miles while your original one could last another 40k miles.

Exactly, I wouldn't touch the opti till you have some sorta problem...as for the plugs and wires, I'd probably do the wires, but those delco plugs actually aren't terrible, I've got 68k on mine and probably wait about 20k before I touch them, the car still runs great with no misses.

Delco plugs have given me NO issues in the last 40k miles, I'm perfectly happy with them. I'm only changing them at this point because I have to regap for the nitrous.

And, damnit, I didn't want to mess with the wires, the plugs are a pain in the *** enough.

when you go to the nitrous u need to put in the copper plugs... goahead and change your wires it couldnt hurt. I would leave the opti alone untill it gives you some problems.
