I am home porting my heads and putting in 2.00/1.56 valves in along with the comp 987 springs. How much do you think it will cost me to get the valve job taking into account enlarging for the larger valves? Also, how much do you think it will cost for machining the spring pockets for the larger springs?

 

I just paid $440.,for cut spring pockets,comp valve job,mill .010 off,obviously this incudes cleanining and setup and small things like seals......an out the door price!!!

 

Wow, if it is that much I will just do it myself. Anybody else have different prices.

 

mine just cost $150.. got the exhaust increased.. went from a 1.56 valve to a 1.57... complete valve job.. and back cut all the valves as well.

 

I just had a valve job and resurface done. It was 150.00
