i just ran my car on the g teck and i got 13.6@ 114 with no tracktion in first and second. mods are in sig my compression is 11.2 and my cam is 234 242 on a 110 and my heads flow 264 @ 500. the car feels like power falls off at 5000 rpm can the stock fuel pump be the problem? i have a 255 but i havnt put it in yet.oh yea i have a mail order tune on it right now. my altitude is 5000ft. do you think my fuel pump could be the problem? i was hoping for at least 12.80s up here.

 

Don't think of it as a stock fuel pump think of it as a 10 year old fuel pump, without any real data to go off of I think it likely the fuel pump is your problem given age more than the fact it is stock.

 

well, there are ways to test the stock fuel pump. shbox.com has these ways on his site. check the fuel pressure first. if its low, then the fuel pump is going south. the stock fuel system is rated to 450hp, but you never know with age.
