Hey guys im going to start saving money for a "major job" in my eyes lol. Im 18 and am paying for college so it is hard, and i want the best deals possible, if you know what i mean. Im looking into these things listed:
1)K&N FIPK Cai
2)Jethot Long tubes
3)possibly crane gold race 1.6 RR's and lt4 valve springs , and comp cam rods.
4)But the biggest is Advanced induction "rebuild and porting Lt1 cylinder head package": http://www.advancedinduction.com/AiProductsLT1.html
5)And possibly intake porting and polishing trough AI ( on the same page as the link but further down).
6) I most definently want a cam, but i want it to be streetable and have power from around idle or 1500 to about 6K i really dont want to spin the engine much over 6K, what cam do you guys think would be good for my preferences and for this setup?
Is this a good "startup" im not really sure about inner engine related parts, and what they need, so if im leaving anything out please fill me in, if you are in the know.
Will i need a bigger TB, or is stock sufficient? what about a LT4 knock module? And if i switch to dual exhaust would that be a better idea instead of running it toa y pipe, for power #'s i mean?
With the 5 things listed and a tune by madz28 or so, how much hp and torque (both flywheel and rearwheel) does everyone think is likely to be achieved by this setup? And with 3.42's what does everyone expect it to run in the quarter?
I really don't know who to ask, other than the experts, and you guys are experts to me in these cars.

And what about LLyod Elliot heads? is it exspensive or no

 

If you want more of a bang for the buck then Lloyd is your guy. His packages are much cheaper than Phil's. I know how it is being this age and paying for college and its going to be a little expensive in a relative sense even if you dont plan on a large budget. I'm 19 and looking for as much power as I can get out of a H/C stock shortblock combo and thats why I'm going to go with Phil. Its all in what you're looking to do. Its going to be hard to say what you'll run without knowing what cam you want, your goals and a little more detail about what your desired setup is. Also with Phil, you can also go with his valvetrain packages which are a pretty good deal since you'll get exactly what you need and all of what you need for a fair price. Give us some more detail and we'll go from there.
