How much RWHP can I expect???
How much RWHP can I expect???
I have no way of Dyno-ing my car and was wanting some opinions from some people who might have an idea. Here are the circumstanes: I have a 94 Z-28 Camaro with Auto Tranny. Here are the MODS: 58mm intake manifold, 58mm throttle body, Ported MAF, K&N FIPK, March 2 Piece UD Pulleys, MSD 6A Ignition, MSD 8.5mm Plug Wires, Bosch Platnium plugs, Hypertech PP3, 160 degree thermostat, TB bypass, Edelbrock headers, 3" Hooker Header Cat-back Exhaust, 3" CATS(in and out), 3.73 Gears and a suspension that is built to the gills- subframe connectors, panhard rod, torque arm, SLP front and rear sway bars, lower control arms, lowering springs, 18 X 8 wheels with Nitto tires. Does anybody have a clue or even a educated guess? I've been wondeing for months.
We can make educated guesses but that's all they'll ever be is guesses.
If you want real numbers go to dynojet.com, look up the closest dyno to you, make an appointment and go. Might require an overnight stay but it would be worth it IMO not to be going around quoting "guess" numbers to people that ask.
No different than the "what do you think my car would run in the 1/4 mile?" questions. If you want to know, there's only one way to find out.

My guess is 280-290rwhp. There really is no sure way to guess. One thing to think about, if you're done with modding your car at the moment it really might be worth it to head down to the nearest dyno and get it dyno tuned. You'll probably gain at least 20-25rwhp if you haven't already had your car tuned.
