how much power can a stock crankshaft take?

how much power can a stock crankshaft take?

exactly like the title says. i have a 355, but it has the stock crank (reworked of course) im just curious how much power i can put through it before i snap the little guy in half

If you have arp main studs or even splayed main caps don't worry about it. The stock crank will take alot, it just distorts which is why you need the studs.

see i run 11.5 spinning the 1/8th, i have a set of heads, new cam, and a ported intake on the way, plus suspension. i also spray a 300 shot, so im realy hopeing to make 700rwhp on the spray. and it had the arp studs i just didnt know how much it can take.

I've heard 600rwhp. But each crank is different. I wouldn't count on it to last long, but a few hits shouldn't send you packing ... everytime you hit it you will get closer to blowing it. So i'd plan on a rebuild and fix the problem before it becomes a serious problem.

I heard about 500 rwhp and that the ARP studs don't do much more than bolts if anything.

everything is sig is on stock crank, 2 bolt main block, spinning to 7500.

7500 is alot of RPM!! i start to cringe at 6200 i feel a little more confident now
