Depends... I was told a rebuild for forced induction would set me back $3,500, including cam and pistons... I'm assuming the same deal would apply, except I'd get high comp pistons...

95s have a single exhaust. Power costs money. Remember, I think the threshold is 500 RWHP before you start breaking parts and then it isn't worth it. So, N/A you don't have to worry about that except for the rear differential and trans.

How much power and be streetable. I'd say that 500 at the crank is plenty achievable from a 350-ish ci engine.

If you want to be much more drivable just go with the typical build you see from many of this boards members.... HotCam or XE224 etc., SLP shorties (longtubes if you can get by emissions), free mods, bolt ons, roller rockers, cat back, etc..

I posted this question on another forum, they raised the option of stroking it to 383... Considering the fact that these parts wouldn't set me back TOO much more than my standard rebuild, I think it's a really great idea...

Yep, 1995 Z28s were equipped with OBD-II Connectors but have OBD-I ECMs. Single Cat, single pipe
