How much power?

I own a 96 camaro z28 and i was wondering if anyone knows how many rear wheel hp they have stock and how much power I could add to it before I would have to get a new rear end, tranny, etc. If you have any answers please post them because I'm looking at adding as much power as i can but don't really have the money to do the other stuff to make as fast as I would like it to be.

Re: How much power?

~240-255 stock rwhp.

I'm running 11s on a stock tranny with a shift kit and a factory rear.

Re: How much power?

Every car varies! There is no set amount of rear wheel horse power! Alot has to do with the mileage on the car and the altitude you live at. I could see 240-255 maybe at sea level but if you live in higher elevations, then I have heard as low as 215 rwhp range. Auto or Stick! The only way to know for sure truely is a dyno.

Re: How much power?

As far as the rear end goes. I would say 450 rwhp would be pushing the limits!
