i've done a few oil changes using around 5 Litres of oil (roughly 5 quarts). I'm using the larger ACDelco Oil Filter From GM. Exactly how much oil should I put in the car (Assume i don't prefill the oil filter).

it takes about 5.25-5.5qts depending on if you have a cooler or not. just fill it with five and then check the dipstick when your adding the rest. btw...always prefill your filter. you don't want to have any dry secitions in the loop on your first startup.

I use 5L (5.3qt) with the long K&N HP3002 filter.
