I have a LT1 out of my 96 Z with 150,000 miles on it. Runs strong with no leaks, does have a little bit of blowby in it though, and it needs a waterpump. What do you think it is worth? I also have a T-56 form the car with the same number of miles, no leaks and no problems with shifting, anyone know what that might be worth. I have been offered 500 for the tranny, am i gettin ripped? What about for the package(motor, tranny, computer, MAF)?

 

You could get more money for the trans if you sold it as a 6 speed swap kit- pedal set (including clutch pedal), master cylinder, clutch, flywheel, trans, shifter, console.

Not sure how much you could get for the engine, just put it on ebay, or do a search in the for sale section and get some average prices.

 

Thats a good ide, never thought about selling the tranny as a swap package.

 

I'll buy the entire package for 2200$.
