Iam looking to get either a whole new engine or rebuild my old engine. I would like to get around 400+ HP how much do you think it would cost. Also where should I get it at I am in Florida but can travel?

 

Honestly if you don't have a rediculous amount of miles on your motor all you need is good heads and cam to make the motor capable of that. If you do decide to rebuild the stock crank/rods are more than capable of you modest goal heck the pistons are too but if you overbore you will be replacing them anyway. If I had a 100K motor and was going to shoot for 400hp honestly all I would do would be the bearings, the stock components are strong and bore wear is almost non-existent.

 

The motor has about 140 on it.
