How much lift can a have with stock bottom end without having clearance issues.I am thinking of running 1.7 rockers with my xe 224/230 cam. The lift numbers with 1.5 rockers are .503/.510

Stock bottom end LT1s can take around or over 600 lift in most cases. Lift plays a smaller roll in PTV clearance than duration does though.

The only acurate way to know if you will have clearance issues is by checking when installing the rockers.
