Re: How much to install catback?

I rented a sawzall to get my old system off and install my Magnaflow.
Best $15 I spent that month, that's for sure.

I paid $50 to get my first catback put on and it was the best $50 I ever spent. Exhaust work is the worst kind because you never know what youre getting youself into and simple hand tools might have you under your car all day long. The only people who touch my car besides me are exhaust guys... they are a godsend.

I took my car's intermediate pipe out in one piece. all you have to do is place jack stands underneath the body rails in front of the lower control arms remove right rear wheel, disconnect the LCA,the sway bar mount at the frame, unbolt the shock at the bottom, push rear end down and slide the Intermediate pipe out

lol...

or take sawzaw and cut pipe ...done!

Re: How much to install catback?

NO you don't have to remove the right rear wheel unless you want to make access easier while installing the catback. If you are just cutting the old I pipe out you can leave the wheels on. But if you want to remove the Intermediate pipe you will have to remove the right rear wheel. If you have access to a shop lift you do not have to do it this way because you can slide the I pipe right out the bottom and not have to remove the right rear wheel.

Most people just cut there's off...therefore they can simply install a catback by pulling the car up on some ramps or jacking the **** end up.
