why such low compression and short rod: stroke ratio?
who built this?
isit an "Lt1"
i dont see the point of an NA motor with less compression that stock on a bigger cam and short rods.

You are however gonna be running out of fuel if this thing makes the 450 hp (400rwhp) it should.
How did you arive at a 10.0:1 static compression ratio?
The cam is mild... not for horse lovers but it will make nice torque. Otherwise everything looks to be in line.

Well dont think its horrible, but it could be better. If you staying NA go with the longer 6 in rods , but I wouldnt sweat it if you allready have the 5.7s. You will most likely need at least 30# injectors.....the stockers were maxed out on my 350 hotcam setup at high rpm....Im going with 36#. Ild like to see at least the stock 10.5:1 compression...my app is going to be 11:1. With the hotcam you not going to get the full potential out of the motor....but if you like me and have to pass emmisions it will do. Im going with a 224/230 whitch is alittle bigger and should pass....we'll see.

Again, how do you know that that's the actual compression? Kinda tough to go that low with an LT1 stroker and flat-tops. What pistons? Any block decking?
