How much HP on this set up??
How much HP on this set up??
Hi, guy's I'm new to this fourm and was wondering what you guy's think I'll be putting down in terms of HP or ET's here's my list
383 stroker
forged crank, H-rods 6", mahle coated pistons
LE3 Heads from LLoyd Elliot
Ported intake from LE as well
Bret Bauer custom cam "I think it's a little bigger than the LE3 one"
58mm AS&M
42lbs inj.
Hooker 1 3/4 long tubes "coated"
dual 3" elect. cutouts
borla 3" cat back no cats
custom tune
Dual stage 75-125hp stage 1, 150-200hp stage2
PRO 5.0 with lou's short stick
T56, spec Stage 3
12blt 3.73 gears for nitrous.
I think I got all the parts down, could be forgetting a few things, all in all I'd like to get a low to mid 11 on motor, and maybe 420-440rwhp. Also, I'd like to thank Bret Bauer, and LLoyd Elliot for there help and advice and for making this happen. Maybe low 10's on bottle.

I think the LE3's flow in the 280 range?
Re: How much HP on this set up??
How fast ET wise?? I know if I hit a low to mid 10 on juice I'll be the fastest
LT1 camaro in the valley here in southtexas so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. So what do you guys think.

Re: How much HP on this set up??
With dual cutouts and whatnot... i'd imagine around 440rwhp. I dynoed 430rwhp with a very similar setup. But I have a weaker exhaust, stock air filter on my ram air. But I do have higher compression. I have 11.9:1 compression... but thats Static. I have 8.2:1 dynamic.
I can definitely get a bit more out of her. I can still cutouts and an underdrive pulley. BUT... I also have a stock drivetrain. So you will be losing more power with that 12 bolt. So i'd guess 435/420 at the floor.
By the way... on the juice I plan on making 680rwhp and whatever torque... hopefully close to 780. I know you didn't ask, but I drive the car everyday. :-)

Re: How much HP on this set up??
I'm planning on having a similar setup for daily driving too. What you guys think of it? I'm hoping for 450 rwhp and have to go with the single plane intake.
Re: How much HP on this set up??
Well, I planed on at least on 450rwhp and will do anything to achive it, whatever more parts I have to buy, I do plan on a dual stage nitrous express set up, 75-125 on the launch and 125-175 for top end or 200hp setting just incase I get to race for cash. I hoping with the juice over 600hp for sure, as soon as I get the motor assembled and the intake and heads from Lloyd "which by the way he getting done" I'll post dyno numbers with ET's.
Re: How much HP on this set up??
I got 15mpg on the highway... never going under 90 for about 130 miles... hit traffic for about 1 1/2. City driving for about 3... and some romps in between... more here then there. haha
