How much HP are Scat 4340 Forged I-Beam rods good to?
GOt some people giving me **** about these rods that I got saying they'll put a nice hole in my pan. I think they'll be fine if I hit around 450ish flywheel....
Thoughts, experiences, and opinions?
Thanks!

I have no personal experience with the parts in question but do a search for anything posted by Mindgame. I believe he said he ran some Scat I-beams pretty hard in a circle track engine and they held up fine.
You're not going to get a cut and dry answer as there are too many variables to take into account. But provided you're not using granite slugs for pistons I think they'll be fine at 450hp and <7000rpm
Stop listening to people, 99% of the time (especially on those big automotive message boards online... ;) ) they don't know their *** from a hole in the ground. You've got more connecting rod than most people ever need, and it's doubtful you'll have issues.
Which one of these do I want?

I know 5.7, but what measurement is the 2.0/2.1".
And do I want bushed or press pin?
