How much HP to "NEED" a aftermarket TB

I know this will probably open a big debate but I would like to know the answer. This is for a N/A appication.

I know for a fact that some people with them have no need. The bigger is always better takes over in thier mind when it comes to cam, TB etc.

In my experience with carbed cars I have always ran smaller carbs, cam, than what a lot of people say to use. I have also ended up having a more drivable car that was faster than some cars with the bigger is better way of thinking. This is not an all out drag car but a quick car on the street that pulls some nice times at the track.

This is my first EFI car to modify. I want to make sure it is done right the first time.

Thanks in advance for any input.........

Brian,
So did your car make 400 NA or on th gas?

Did you make any other changes when you gained the 8 RWHP?
Was it on the same dyno? Any different programing?

Thanks

on your engine with the heads it probably did pick up power. however on a fairly stock engine there will be minimal increase for the money. for the same price you could spend the money on rockers or something like that which is a proven 10-15 rwhp
