How much HP have you LT1 guys got away with spraying dry N2O in front of the MAF? I have seen some guys spraying LT1's through the MAF. What are your experiences, I am interested in hearing the results and how much you have gotten away with.

I ran a dry shot both before the MAF and after for over 2yrs w/o any probs and went 12.60's@110mph with the only other mods being flowmaster muffler and RamAir hood and airbox on Kumho radials. The way I see it is all GM vehicles are rich from the factory andspraying 75-100shot won't hurt a thing. I didn't buy a kit I just hooked up a Nitrous dry nozzle, n20 line, bottle and a button. I tried a 50 pill and picked up 8 tenths in the 1/4 to 13.30's. Im kept putting bigger n20 jet until I got to 62 NOS jet and left it alone. It would run 12's all day spraying about 30-40' out and letting off between shifts. You also need an MSD box b/c it would surge untill I put one. I have put the same type of kit on 5 other vehiocles w/o any probs all GM though. Trucks and two other fbodys I don't know all the technical stuff behind it but it works and i didn't burn any pistons likethat either. I put a wet kit on my car when I changed cam, headers, converter and all that stuff b/c i figured it would go lean but I am tempted to put a dry shot on it too. for some extra power.
