how much freon and oil to put in my car?
I just put my motor back in and now i have to have A/C. The Car is a 95 obviously and at my dads work they have a professional machine to do it. You just put in how much freon and oil to add and it does the rest. Does anyone know how much to put in my car it is completely empty. Thanks Mike

Unless you've replaced some of the AC components, you don't need to add too much oil. The oil remains in the system, mostly in the compressor, where as you will lose the 134 when you discharge the system.
A couple of ounces of oil is probably enough, you can buy a 8-12 ounce can of 134 with 2 ounces of oil in it, I believe, for about $10 at Target, Walmart etc.
Over time, the compressor will lose some oil through the seal behind the compressor clutch. Look for a dirty stripe in the engine compartment around the compressor clutch.
I usually add 8 ounces of 134/oil every few years on my cars.
