I wont get my hopes too high and expect something like that. I would REALLY like to run a 13.3. Then i can hang with a couple stock LS1s

Then after that comes the converter... and thats when the real fun starts

I can't imagine why going up the gears shouldn't cut some time off the quarter assuming you can get same or better 60fts than before. My 80 ta seemed to pick up a few tenths for sure going from 3.08 to 3.42.And then put in 2400 stall and it picked up another three tenths or so and probably better once I get some practice with launching.Too much gear will likely just blow the tires off ,I went with 4.10 on my 97 ta and couldn't get a better time with those over the 3.42 stockers. On street tires it just roasted them but drag radials should have knocked 3 tenths or more off in the quarter.Anyway the car will feel like a freakin animal after the new gears..really picks them up around town.I am planning on 3.42 in my 96 which has 2.73 now as have those gears already from my 99 which is getting a 3.73 12 bolt rear.

Dropped the car off this morning....I swapped in Ion ( www.madz28.com )'s tune before I went which is calibrated for 3.73s, and it felt like I had a pretty nice SOTP gain. I'm picking the car up some time tomorrow, so I'll keep you guys posted.

Bad news, my A-Hole of a dad wouldnt let me drop it off today. Reasons were that the place i was going to was an hour away and I would have to wait there for about 4 hours. He didnt want to waste the gas in driving an hour back and forth twice. And he didnt want me driving through all the traffic since "its the busiest day of the year" after thanksgiving.

So ****ing a... Gears probably wont go in now till Dec 15th... Thats the only day im off work...
