How much does a stall help?

I ran a 13.2 before the stall. What canI expect to run with my new stall. It is a Vigilanti 4000 with 2.5 STR. Thanks.

well, that depends on what mods you have if the stall will help or hurt. what cam? thats a pretty big stall conv. you got there. it will help you launch the car harder for sure, but not sure if it will make the car any quicker by the end of the track. for instance if your cam stops making power at 6000, thats only a 2000 rpm powerband roughly not good. but if you have some good flowing heads/exh./cam, then your eng. can rev alot higher and take advantage of blowin through the low rpms like that and your ETs will improve. maybe just the quicker 60 will help you shred some time just from that. if you had a stock conv. before, Id expect at least .2-.3 quicker just in the first 60'.
