Just like the title says. How much does it cost to rebuilta lt1 engine? I mean every thing from the kit, all the plugs, oil pump, etc?

 

That question has some very different answers. Depending on the type of rebuild will determine actual parts,are the pistons reusable,does it need to be bored,has it spun a bearing etc?
you can expect to spend 1800.00 on up at minimum..

 

If you do the work yourself and do the minumum i guess it shouldn't be to bad. If you only buy stock replacement parts that would be the cheapest route and reuse parts that are in good shape. I replaced a lot more than i had to years ago and it added 25% to the rebuild.
