Not enough, that's for sure. I put four Prostars on a Cobra 427 replica I built a few years ago, and they claimed to be "street legal", but all four bent quickly. I couldn't get rid of them fast enough. About 8 pounds for the 15x7's and about 9 for the 15x10's I was using.
They have no strength at all in side loads - which is too bad if you like to turn corners.

28lbs for race wheels????????? haha!
stock camaro and firebird rims weigh 20lbs each and the 17 and 18" rims weigh 25lbs.

28lbs is too heavy......get some welds or pro stars.
and yeah........the aluminum race wheels weren't built for all around driving.....just straightline(drag).

I had the y2k 17 x 8.5 vette rims on my car before switching to the Centerline drag wheels I have now. Those 17'' vette rims with tires mounted weighed about 45-50lbs each. I now have 15x6'' convo pro's up front that weigh about 28lbs with tires mounted on them and the rear 15x8.5's weight about 32lbs.
