How much of a difference is there between proforms 1.6 SA roller
rockers and Cranes 1.6 gold SA roller rockers besides price ? Thanks

 

DO NOT GET THE PROFORMS. I have heard some horror stories about these. however I do know a brand that is not as expensive and is an eztremely good product. PM sent

 

Can the name of this product be posted within this thread, or just in PMs? I will be needing a set myself, always out to save a little $$.

 

I installed a set of proforms on a friends LT1 and theyve had no problems .
So thats why i wanna know about the difference between the two . Any other thoughts ? Thanks

I dunno why I wrote it like that. I did some investigating and comparing and found that the jegs brand roller rockers are identical to crane gold race rockers. of course I have not actually verified that they are the same product. I just put them on my engine that is going in in a few weeks but they look like a great product

 

I went with neither i bought the Scopions and they have been great.
Also they are stronger than the Crane Golds

 

I put almost 50K on a set of 1.5 ProForms over 30K of that mildly cammed with appropriate springs and they came out just fine. One of these days they will make it onto my other LT1. For the current AI package though I went with the non-SA ProMagnums. For a mild setup I would have no problem running the ProForms but on a more serious build spend the money on something you know is good.
