how much antifreeze to add?

how much antifreeze to add?

can someone tell me after you drain the entire engine of the coolant by removing both drain plugs out of the block.how much antifreeze do you need to put in to get it back up to par.

unfortunatly i don't know the answer as to what the cooling system volume is. but I sure can see the type of answers your gonna get. I have asked questions like this in the past on this and other forums and people come back with answers like 'til it's full', or a '50/50 mix'. when I'm assuming your looking for a volume so you know how much antifreeze to buy.

From the coolant drain and refill guide on my Tech Page:

LT1 coolant capacities for the 4th gen F-body:
With Manual Transmission - 15.3 quarts (14.5 L)

With Automatic Transmission - 15.1 quarts (14.3 L)

I actually havne't really been to this site in months....it's winter been working on the jeep and folowing that board.....but it seems Shoebox is still the man!!!
