How much am i looking at?

For a forged 355 that will hold a 150-250hp shot of nitrous? How about a forged 383?

This doesn't belong in N20 tech. lol.

Well, depends on how much you wanna spend really. I think theres a pretty big difference between 150-250 shot so which is it? I am spraying a 150 shot when my engine is all back together...I didn't/ don't have a ton of money to spend so I went with studded 2 bolt mains, polished stock crank, Scat I beams, and Mahle pistons. I don't think that would have a problem with a 150 shot, but with a 250 I probably would have converted to either 4 bolt or splayed caps. Also with a bigger shot, i would have upgraded the crank as well.

I am just giving Nick a hard time. Had we not taken my car on Saturday night, I would have been the one driving his when it popped.

Splayed caps are in Nick's future. Trying to talk him into boost, but not going to happen.

Ok i have decided to do a semi stock rebuild and build a motor on the side. What should i do to get it going and a little more strength? I was thinking 355, stock crank and rods, new bearings, arp rod bolts and main cap studs. Some cheap pistons and all the other various things... What do you guys think?

Ok, i think using the stock crank is fine, stock rods could be used...but you could just pick up some eagle I beams for about the same price of having the stockers cleaned, resized, checked for straightness..etc, etc. Main studs is another very good idea, as for pistons you pick what you want..i would go with lightweight forged piston but thats just me.
