I will be installing all my mods this weekend and then custom tuning the PCM, i will be doing the headers, valve springs, rockers, cam, TC, double roller chain, and tuning it myself. if anyone has any help or any tips that helped them along it would be appreciated in this thread. thanx in advacne guys.

 

that seems like an awful lot to do just over a weekend. sorry im not much help, but good luck

 

if you're going to do that, u better tel your friends and family you wont be speaking to them this weekend. get a friend or 2 to help, and be patient. highly doubt you'll be done in one weekend

 

well i have a full auto hobby shop at my disposal with the help of about 6 friends, so i am confident

 

dude I wouldnt trust 6 people to work on my car at the same time, I would be afraid they would screw it up so many people doing different things. JMO

 

Exactly, when I work on my car it is either by myself or with a friend, anymore than that and people get in the way. Also it is possible to do in a weekend if you have done it before, I have a feeling in order for you get all that done you are going to have to work from sun up to sun down. The chances for a mistake increases when you rush a job of this magnatude.

well everyone thanx for all the tips, and words of encouragement. exagerration on the 6 people, at most 2 others + myself

 

when your headers go in there are some wires that run down the pass. side inner fender... These wires need to be disconnected, extended, and rerouted away from the header. Buy some good quality heat tape and tape off your heater box & fuel lines under the car also.
