I enjoy doing all of the mods, that is half of the fun of owning a performance car.

I paid $7500 (asked $8500) for a black 95 Z28 with: 6 spd, 3.73 gears, leather, shaved body, SS hood, spoiler, centerforce clutch, Borla muffler, 111k miles, stock 16" wheels. I live in California for reference. And from what I could tell, I was beat on. But, you do the best with what you get . Check my web site for what I've done since.

well im from pa, and this car's in jersey, i havent had any luck finding a car for a while now, since i drove to jersey for the last one... and i was think about going to an auction. like a dealer auction but im not sure about what i'd find there.... I have a dealer that will go with me to bid and everything, but i don't know what kind of prices i could expect to pay... I was thinking 5-6 for a nice one, i wouldnt care if the car had some minor things that needed a fix, b/c i want to really mod it anyway..

Sounds EXACTLY like what I bought, down to the same color. He had some mods but nothing serious. He had a hypertech programmer as well as a thermostat and SLP 2OTL exhaust. He was asking $7000 but he took $6500 cash. I would tell him you aren't going to pay more than $7000 and see what he says.

Well, here is some reference. I have a 96 Z with 40K on the clock with the mods listed below. And I couldn't get anyone to buy my car for $9,000. My car also has a new paint job. So there is no way it's worth any more than $8,000. Just my opinion though.

I would have bought your car for that much with those mods if you were near me!

heres a comparision- i bought my '96 A4 with every option except t-tops, leather, and CD, with 81k miles, from a DEALER for $8,995. it was stock, but well taken care of and went a BEST of 13.62 @ 102 off the lot.

is this an individual or dealer?? if i were you, id look for a stock car from a dealer. i'm seeing 94-96 6sp cars with right around 100k miles at dealers for 6-8k here...

just saw a 94 loaded to the gills 6sp at a huge GM dealer with 44k orig miles for 7,5k about 2-3 weeks ago.
