how many of you use MSD blaster coil?

how many of you use MSD blaster coil?

have any of you guys used a MSD blaster coil? if so how good are they. what do they help in? what is the difference between that and stock coil.

Since you're new, I'll take it easy on ya.

I have seen this very question come up 3 times in just the last week.

I have had the Blaster coil in my car since I first bought it back in March '00. It has worked just fine for me. You won't see any difference between that and the stock coil, unless you were able to measure the voltage difference between the two. The stock ignition system in LT1's are pretty good from the factory. The only real reason you might want to upgrade it is if you went to forced induction or N20 to ensure a good spark.

Some people like them, some don't. It's your choice. Good luck.

I've got one. You won't tell a difference with it. The only reason I bought one was because I thought the stock one had gone out and just replaced it with an MSD product.

I have one, but i also added an MSD 6AL ignition unit. So the car does start up alittle better and the rpms climb alot smoother also.
