but the plug has two pronges i hope only one wire

 

Which temp sensor are you looking at? There's one on the driver's side head and one temp sensor in the water pump.

If it's the temp sensor on the driver's side head, it's only one wire:

If it's the temp sensor on the water pump, it's two (black and yellow):

If it's the one on the cyl. head(for the temp gauge) the sensor itself looks like it has 2 metal prongs, one with a slightly rounded or squared end and one with a pointy end. I think the rounded one is just there for stability and the pointed one is what actually contacts to the one wire connector from the harness. This confused me too. Hope this helps.
