Somy car 97 formula lt-1 has 4 O2 sensors?
Well i have no SES light but when i got my car scanned about a month ago they said one of them was going bad.

Any way to tell witch one it might be with out having to pay to get it scanned aging?

Also i am getting headers soon...should i gust buy a O2 simulater instead of new o2?

 

Not sure if it will tell you which O2 is bad, but Autozone should have the equipment & scan it for free.

 

yeah you have 2 front O2 sensors needed for fuel managment purposes and then 2 rear O2 sensors that monitor your cats.

no way really to tell which is going bad without scanning the car again.. sorry.

 

Use simulators on the rear only.

 

I went to auto zone and they said $65 to scan it!! That is more than the damn O2...Where are you all that get free scans at Auto Zone?

 

Replace the two rear O2's with simulators, and then repalce the front 2 simply because they should be done about every 60K miles. That will also save you money in the long run

 

What brand of O2's should i get..are there after market ones?
i did a quick search and some ppl said dont get Bosch.
How much should i be paying for new ones?
