Article stating that this LT1 with basically a BMR suspention kit, CAI, headers plus full exhaust, hi-stall ran those times. Not even a tune and with stock gears. Look at those 60ft times! Believable?

 

I ran 13.21 in hot weather with like no suspension mods, but i have 3.73 gears and this was before the tuning. So thats definetly possible. I even had full weight, spare and jack, and a lots of crap in the backseat .

 

A stall can make a world of a difference from a dead stop in an A4 car. I believe it.
Not to mention LT1s make good torque.
Also it has stickies with skinnies!

 

times are in my sig, shave a tenth or two off my 60' and id be there. the 12 bolt is coming very soon.

 

My 95 Formula A4 I used to have would run 13.8 with just a CAI and cat-back in FL heat and humidity, on street tires. So I wouldn't doubt the numbers in the article.

I bet the converter alone can make a pretty substantial difference. Add in that they swapped to 3.42 gears, headers, and used drag radials and it seems pretty likely. They seem to lean toward those last suspension mods making that last bit of difference, but personally I'd think it was mostly the new opti-spark vs. a 100k mile unit.

I only ran a 13.1 with my stuff. But I trapped 109

My stock traps were 98-99.... It would take a tiny 60' to run that deep into 13s.

 

I ran a 13.62 with just a catback and Nittos. Horriable 2.1 60ft. I should be able to hit close to that with a better 60ft.

 

I'm running 13.2@104-105 with bolt-ons and the stock stall.

 

with open airbox and a cutout I ran 13.4 @ 106 with a 2.1~2.2 60'

So yeah, it believable.

 

my car runs a consistant 13.04-13.08 - six speed with bolt ons. No engine work.

 

when I was bone stock with ****ty street tires I ran 13.9 but at 101.7. The mph was there but I couldnt 60ft for **** without at drag radial thus killing my et's..

 

My car ran 13.09@106.82 with nothing more than exhaust, DR's, shifter (6 speed), Ram Air, and a tune. No suspension mods at all.

 

damn your car is like identical to mine. im running bolt ons only, and stock suspension (for the times listed in my sig.) we should meet up and race! where are you located in florida and what mods do you have done?

 

I ran a 13.55 @ 102 on street tires on the same track. Street tires and 2.0 sixty foot. Lots of suspension work but couldn't get the A4 to shift out of second gear on the track though Also running stock 3.42 gears similar mods w/o headers and stall converter. I think this car should be running better times?!?
