how many hours to do rocker swap?
I just swapped my 1.6's for 1.5's to get them off new ones on adjusting and taking the alt. off and on to get the passanger valve cover off and back on.... took me about 2 hrs total... took some time because the valve cover gaskets " made of rubber" like to come off.... i just used some gasket sealer just to hold the sucker on there for 5 seconds while i put the cover back on.
it should take you a few hours to change springs and rockers. i used compressed air and had to remove the headers to get the air fitting in the plug hole. perhaps the TDC method would be quicker?
hopefully i wont have to take off my headers to change mine, i have a flexible hose for my air fitting plus i have slp headers so well see i guess. im changing the rockers, springs, seats, retainers, valve seals, studs, adding guide plates, and new locks. i guess itll probably take me like 3-4 hours easy lol
i had the flexible hose too, but i couldnt get it to go straight and i was afraid of ruining the threads...so i just pulled the headers. but your headers may be different than mine, just giving you a heads up. any other questions feel free to shoot me pm.
