How Many Hoses

Hey guys,

1993 M6 LT1

I am starting to notice coolant on the ground so I figure it is a good time to change out the hoses. I already changed to driver side hose with the "T" in it. I am not sure if that is considered the upper hose. I know there is a Lower hose, but there seems to be a lot more hoses that carry coolant! It looks to me as if the hose, running vertical to the engine, on the passenger side of the car with the metal fittings on it is leaking. (End run-on sentence) I bought one of those Hi Miler kits from Summit, turns out they had a misprint in the catalog and the kit was only for a 95- 97 camaro, I am sending that back tomorrow. Just wondering where I could find the hoses I need. The picture is a list of hoses I found from RockAuto.com. I don’t know which ones I need, if that is all of them or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks all.

Look at the weep hole at the bottom of your waterpump...could be the source of your leak.

Re: How Many Hoses

My advice is to use the Hi Miler kit and just upgrade to 95-7 hose configuration... You have already done HALF of it by deleting the Y in the 'drivers side hose'... [what did you do with the other end of the TB bypass hose? that went to the 'bleeder tee'?plug it off?]
see my thread re 'updating' the hoses:
http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...ighlight=miler

All you really need to buy then is the non 'teed' bleeder pipe [and a piece of 3/4 hose for the 'missing hose' in the kit..]
Study the above link carefully it gives all you need to do it..
If you wish to know the Gm p/n's for either 'early' or 'late' hose configs, I have that 'somewhere' and could list it[or check the list you posted] later...
