How many bolts holding the power steering pump?

How many bolts are holding the power steering pump on?
I see one at the very top and feel one at the bottom.
Is there another one hidden somewhere?

Need to replace a spark plug wire and there no way in heck to get the wire for behind the steering pump tube so I want to loosen it up to give me enough romm to slip the wires out from behind the tube....unless anyone has a better idea....
Thx

Yes there are only two, they're 10mm I believe. You gotta loosen the pump to do wires in these cars, unless you feel like making your own routing. You don't have to remove the pump just take the bolts out and then wiggle it around while you get the wires in the looms.

Im having the same issues.. my existing wires are stuck between the power steering pump and the accesory bracket. Does anyone have a picture of diagram showing which bolts to remove? Ive taken out three what look like mounting bolts to the power steering pump and it still wont budge

I don't have any pictures, but you access the bolts thru the front of the pulley thru 1 of the holes in the face of the pulley. Use a rachet and about a 3" extension..a little 1/4" rachet did the trick on mine..don't remeber the bolt head size, seems like it was 10mm.
The 2 bolts are at about the 1:00 and 6 or 7:00 position, you can feel them by sticking your finger in one of the holes in the front of the pulley.

im not sure what bolts i unscrewed i went ahead and re tightened them and just cut the boots off the old wires and pulled them out and routed them another way. Is it normal to have 2 extra wires in an msd plug wire kit? this thing came with no instructions.. i have all the plugs hooked up but i have 2 very short wires 1 with a 90 degree boot and another with two of the connections that you hook onto the opti what are these for?

The MSD's come with 2 different types of coil wires...which ever fits your application, one of those the extra wires goes from the coil to the opti...the other can be tossed of the 2.
Make sure the wires have plenty of clearance from the rotation pulleys and belts...there's not much other way to route them unless you have OTVC wires....that side is a real biotch to do I did it the first time without removing the pump but it wasn't easy getting them back in there...I in fact made a little bracket to ensure they would stay off of the pulleys.

ok thanks man i see it now.. maybe this will fix my idle problems ive been having... i mean 1 spark plug not being screwed in fully and another boot not being completely on a spark plug is a bad thing right?
