how loud are dynomax bullets?

I really need to get an unrestricted exhaust setup. Now i have eldebrock shorties and a flowmaster muffler. I still have the stock catback pipe to. I've been thinking about going to a dynomax bullet and just dump it before the rear axle. Anyone have a similar setup? Would this setup be to loud? It is pretty loud now. Oh i forgot to mention, I've got a 383 with a 232/242 575/575.
thanks for any help you can give me

Yes they are very loud with no Cats. Since you have a 383 it should Be stupid loud if you get True duals and dumps. Check out Laneswheels.com they have a few sound clips of some LS1s with duals and their loud.

I was contemplating Long Tubes and a pair of Purple Hornie header mufflers there is no X pipe but iF your at the track alot then It wont matter.

I've got true dual Bullets. 2.5" X-pipe into 3" Bullets dumped right before the rear axle. You can check out some pics here of mine.
Dynomax Bullets

They are LOUD. Interior resonance will give you a headache the first few times you drive it. It's definitely something you have to get used to. At WOT, the car sounds insane. But man, it's great getting the looks of shock from people when you crank up your car or watching people as you go down the road. You'll get some looks for sure. I absolutely love it. That setup is really for people that can handle a lot of noise and if you go duals, a lot of vibration/rattle....so this setup is perfect for me. If you are like me, then I guarantee you will fall in love w/ your car all over again.

i really do not want to get alot louder. I think my muffler is going bad now, it sounds like crap here lately. I think i blew a baffle loose. i really just want to unrestrict the flow. Anyone have any good suggestions?

If you like it loud then go ahead.
I have purple hornies on the car now and its not too bad at idle and cruising but still not quiet.
WOT it will knock squirrels out of the trees but it sure is fun.
