Are you talking about the tips or the the pipes ?

My Tips are starting to rust in the inside. I think I may spray them with some High Temp paint.

My tips started rusting on the inside very soon after getting it put on. I cleaned out the inside of them the best I could and used high temp spray paint. Problem soved. However this last winter put a realy beating on the outside. I have rust spots that are there for good now

Hooker been on the car for 3 years

I'm ordering my Hooker cat-back this week, is there anything that could be applied to it before it put it on to help prevent rust?

I've used some polished Borla tips with the Hooker muffler, and it's been years already and it looks great. The Hooker muffler will last well - no opinion on the tips since I couldn't stand the way they looked from the get-go.

Use some black high temp spray paint for the insides and use some polish such as Mother's to keep the outside shiney. The more often the better. The small rust pits can be removed but if they get too big, they don't come off.

can't you get the entire exhaust coated with that invisable stuff that prevents any rusting for life?
