How long to install Optispark?

Me and my friend are thinking about replacing my optispark, he is more experienced with cars than me. What are the times it took to install the optispark do you think? 5-6 hours?
we will be using http://www.streetillusionsracing.com...ll/install.htm

5 to 6 hours is about right for a first time. You can actually get it done in about 2 or 3 hours once you get used to it. It's quite simple.

Drain radiator.
Remove water pump
Replace opti
Reverse

Be sure to have a socket extension and try and get one of those adjustable/bent arms. Makes it easier to get those water pump bolts out.

ehhh no one ever remembers to mention you must REMOVE the AIR backet before the waterpump... that caused me quite a bit of grief.

first time, including trips to the auto parts store, was about 8 or 9 hours...

now i could do it in much much less time

Took me about 4 hours i think. The hardest part was getting the crank pulley off so I could slip the opti off the dowel pin. The pulley was really on there but my trusty 2x4 took it out after a good 30 minutes.

I would like to add something to this, when doing opti, replace the opti oil seal in the timing cover also, and water pump drive seal also if it looks like it may have a leak.
