Guys, the only thing I've done so far is in sig ( Hooker Longtubes ).

Do you think something with Longtube install experience can install a cam kit (Hotcam)?

I don't know anything about top dead center, adjusting rockers, etc. But if I can do it myself and save $800 bucks that would be great.

Another thing, I live in an apartment complex... Is it possible to do it over a weeks time, and have all parts, etc picked up and the car closed up so it looks acceptable to the apartment manangers?

Thanks!

There are quite a few parts you need to remove for this job, it would be pretty tought to sneek a project like this by without raising some eyebrows in an apartment parking lot. And despite some peoples claims of doing it in one day if you do not have experience in something like this I guarantee you it's going to take more like 2 or 3 days. It's not rocket science but it's not the simplest project either. Do you know anyone that would let you use their driveway or better yet thier garage for the weekend? That would be your best bet.

When I installed my Longtubes I had my car up on ramps plus 3 layers of bricks for about 3 weeks. Finally, about 2 hours before I started the car up and drove off, the manager came and suggested I finish up.

But now I'm in a different apartment....

Oh well...

thanks.
