How long for a cam swap?

About how long should it take with 2 people and lots of space/tools (no lift though). New valve springs, pushrods and some roller rockers? Also, does the A/C system have to be dissasembled(refrigerant let out) to do it?
Thanks guys!

It took me all weekend to do it. Starting on friday night and finishing up saturday night. Topped of all the fluids and had it running sunday. I have heard that you can just hold the condensor out of the way and not disconnect it. But i just had my drained and we removed it so I wouldnt have to worry about cracking a line. Good luck

what cam are you going with??

As the post above said,by myself it took all weekend. That is taking my time,a lot of breaks. When you are ready to pull the cam, just carefully tilt the ac condensor out of the way.The hardest part is changing the springs in the car.Dont forget to let the silicone for the intake to set up at least 24 hrs.

still not SURE what cam to use, was gonna go with the cc305, but im thinking that I may want a "little" bigger because I'll be using some 1.5 crane gold rockers, I'll probably just call up comp or crane and talk to their tech guys.....

Give Combination Motorsports a call and tell them what your goal are. They can recommend a cam. They just announced some new grinds, so you might find something that is a good fit for you.

There is cam and spring swap info on my Tech Page if you want to get an idea of what there is to do. With taking pictures and notes and working by myself, I was putting the new cam in 12hrs after I had started work on the car.

Springs can take the good part of a day, depending on how much trouble you have with them. If things go well, it will go pretty fast. By the time I got to the second bank, it was taking me ~15 minutes per cylinder. I actually did my springs/rockers a couple of weekends before doing the cam. That gave me a chance to make sure they were ok and get them broken in. It also broke it up into two more manageable projects (even though there was a little double work).
