I believe there's a graphic on the radiator cover plate showing the routing of the belt. The belt has a spring loaded tensioner arm down next to the AC compressor. Using a long arm ratchet and a 13mm socket, you can move the tensioner to loosen the belt to remove and replace.

This is one of the easiest things to do on an LT1. It'll take longer to jack the car up than it does to change the belt. Jack up the car and safely support it. Get ratchet and socket, IIRC it's a 1/2 inch. Put socket on bolt on adjuster pulley. Move the pulley so you take the belt off. If you forget which way the belt goes, check the diagram on the radiator cover.

I'd be impressed if you could put it on incorrectly even without the diagram The only thing you need to do is make sure the belt is fully centered on each pulley...

Release the tensioner (13mm) and slip the belt off. Follow the diagram on the radiator cover for putting it back on. I slip it on the crank pulley last for install.
