I had a K&N CAI and i believe you had to move or do something diff on the TA's because they have some headlight electical stuff in the way. I've never seen a TA but i remember it saying something in the instructions about it.

He's right, you have to relocate the electrical wiring that runs to the headlights. It has to be moved back next to where the fuse panel and ABS stuff is so it is out of the way.

I don't want to mess anything up. Those wires you have to move are pretty stiff, and I didn't want to unlplug them and screw something up.

Is that big set of wires all I have to move?

The instructions read as such: On Firebird/TransAm models the headlamp control module is located on the interior air duct. It is to the right of the air cleaner ***. and is retained by a plastic push clip. Slide a screwdriver between the air duct and the sheetmetal and pry upward and remove. Disconnect the wires from the module and set aside for re-installation later.

Once you have everything put together you need to test fit the module on the inner fenderwell in an appropriate place and mount it using the double sided adhesive and then reconnect the module wires.

Re: How to install MOROSO CAI?

Throw the instructions out. Heres how I did mine. First I mounted the metal plate. Then put the plastic portion from mass air to plate on. Then I found it easiest to go ahead and take the rain guard off and put the filter on from the bottom. There is no way you can manipulate the filter in and get the plate bolted down. I tried just for kicks once and it was crushing the filter. Then I just used a long sef tapping screw to mount the headlight module. Hope this helps.
