How to install a ABS Reluctor Ring

I have a new ring and a new Eaton posi unit, is the reluctor ring pressed on then held in place by the ring gear after its bolted on?

It is a PITA to press the relucotor gear onto the differential. I would suggest putting the differential in a freezer for 20-30 minutes and then pressing the reluctor gear on.
