Ok I did a search and couldn't find the answer. How high does your car have to be when installing long tubes? I will be buying some this winter. I've heard 3ft, but that height just seems awfully high. I also don't think I would want my car that high in the air either on my driveway cause it slopes down. I can't use my garage cause my parents use it to store a whole bunch of crap.
Re: how high?
it does have to be pretty high but not 3ft, when we did them on my friends car we got it up as high as our jackstands would go and then we un hooked the motor mounts and tilted/jacked up the motor to slide them in.
all in all witha lunch break it was about a 6 hour install. but i was also our first LT install. since then weve had them in and out in under 2 hours.
good luck and make sure you chock the back wheels

Ok cool thanks. I was about to be bummed out. I'll make sure the car doesn't move. I'm also replacing the starter, plugs, wires, and coil at the same time. Anything else I should think about replacing? I'm replacing the starter cause it seems to be on it's way out, my car won't turn over everynow and then. I just hear a click when I turn the key and nothing.
